Too many gifted athletes are watching their dreams slip away and the ability to continue to build critical life skills because the cost to play elite travel sports is simply out of reach. These talented young athletes cannot afford to pay the continued monthly dues to be on an elite team, pay for private training lessons, or the ability to afford to have the best equipment. No athlete should lose their future because of a lack of resources.

At Even Playing Field, we are working to remove the resource barriers that keep talented youth athletes from accessing travel sports, athletic development and gaining critical life skills. Through sponsorship support, equipment access, and training opportunities, we help athletes move past the pay-to-play obstacle so talent and hard work can shine.

How do you become an Even Playing Field Sponsored Athlete?
To be considered for sponsorship, athletes must complete an application and meet the recommended eligibility requirements below. Final selection is subject to Board review and approval.
Recommended Eligibility Criteria
- Demonstrated sponsorship need due to financial or situational difficulty
- A proven track record as an elite athlete
- Evidence of academic excellence
- Commitment to participating in a travel or elite team
- Commitment to training at the Comeback Sports facility
- Completion of a family and athlete interview with the Board
